柿渋とは・・
青柿の果汁を3年以上寝かせて発酵した液体です。柿タンニンが豊富に含まれていて古くから庶民の生活の中で日常的に用いられてきました。天然素材でありながら抗菌・消臭効果があり、防腐・防虫の効果にも優れていると言われています。
柿渋染めと柿渋染めを鉄媒染したものを組み合わせて作りました。
柿渋染めしたのち鉄媒染することにより、グレーがかった色合いになります。
綿100％の手拭い生地、浴衣生地を使用し、他にはない一点物の「粋な鯉口シャツ」を作りました。
∞手染めの為、作品により色むらがございます。
∞やさしめ洗濯機可。中性洗剤もしくは水洗いをお勧めします。水洗いの方が色持ちがいいです。
∞染めから縫製まで1人で作っています、また中古の生地を使うことが多いので同じものを再度製作することは難しいです。

What is Kakishibu?
It is a fermented liquid made by letting the juice of green persimmons sit for more than three years.It is rich in persimmon tannin and has been used daily in the lives of common people since ancient times.Although it is a natural material, it is said to have antibacterial and deodorizing effects, as well as excellent antiseptic and mothproofing properties.
This product is made by combining persimmon tannin dyeing and iron-mordanted persimmon tannin dyeing.
After dyeing with persimmon tannin, iron mordanting gives it a grayish hue.
The yukata fabric is made of 100% cotton and is unique.
The one-of-a-kind "stylish koiguchi shirt" was made using 100% cotton yukata fabric.
∞Because it is dyed by hand, the color may vary from piece to piece.
∞Machine washable with a mild detergent.
